You will be able to edit settings for each Class you’ve created.
When the Class has been created, from your Class dashboard you can use the buttons and links to:
Copy the class link to send to your learners.
View the Leaderboard (ranking of your learners’ scores).
Add a module to your class that represents a task to be done offline. It acts as a placeholder for the task and you can evaluate the learner’s offline task and enter the score, which will be added to the total score for the Class.
Add one of your sims to the class.
Invite learners and facilitators (moderators) by writing in their e-mail addresses or uploading a CSV file.
Move the sequence of sims and tasks in your Class.
Edit Class options:
- Removing the sim only removes it from the Class, it will still be available in Your simulations.
- To make the course team-based means that points will be given individually, but there will be two leaderboards – one for individual learners and one for teams of learners. The same goes for progress statistics – they will be listed in two columns – individual and team.
- Unlocking and locking simulations allows or blocks access to those sims. Learners will see that the sim is added to the Class even if it is locked. Locking and unlocking works instantly. If a simulation is locked while someone is playing, they will be locked out when they make a choice in the sim.
- Grading answers allows to grade offline assignments, view details about scores and reset them.
Here are the functions of the other icons on your dashboard:
The Learners tab lists all the learners taking the class, if they’ve played the sims in the Class (marked by O) or not (marked by -), and their scores. You can invite learners via e-mail here.
The teams tab lists teams, their members, completed courses and collective scores.
Announcements allow you to write something that will be visible to everyone on the Leaderboard page.
Settings tab contains the same Class options that first appeared when creating the class.
